Plastic trash and garden waste bags are important to any good self-reliance preparations. They may be used as a poncho, cleaning up debris, keeping clothing dry when bugging out, to line a bucket to be used as a toilet, to separate wet clothing from dry, as a ground cover for insulation or when sleeping or sitting on wet ground, to keep kindling and wood dry and so much more.
Stock up but always avoid scented bags. Too much scent is never good for those with allergies or those prone to headaches.
