September 23, Week 38
Monday:
This week, collect records and make a hard copy to add to the envelope you will mail to your out-of-area contact and copy to the cloud and hard drive. We realize you may need to find some of these documents, so we are spreading them out. If they are easily found, this will be an easy week. Gather them all at once and catch up on things you may have missed in the past weeks. Today, gather inoculation, dental, and shot records for all family members and pets. Also, add a list of all medications and their dosages.
Tuesday:
Copy your marriage license and will today.
Wednesday:
Today, focus on home and auto insurance. Be sure to make hard copies and digital copies.
Thursday:
Find and copy health and life insurance documents today.
Friday:
Copy guardianship, adoption, and power of attorney documents. Also, copy a bill from a utility company or other recognizable entity. You will need to prove you lived at the address where a home was lost. A bill with a post office box number will not work.
Saturday:
Copy death certificates, divorce decrees, military records, and the last two years of tax returns.
