It's Monday again and this week we welcome IOWA! If your state is not highlighted in red please let us know we will be receiving ornaments from your state so we can keep our map up to date.
BREAKING NEWS! SINCE THIS MORNING LOUISIANA AND NEW HAMPSHIRE HAVE CHECK IN! FIRST YEAR FOR NEW HAMPSHIRE! Had to change the map, it's getting really red now, awesome!
We have so many new members and are thrilled beyond belief! With so many newcomers I thought it might be a good idea to share some of the comments from those who have received ornaments in the past. Here are just three of the dozens we have received.
Paula shared: "I don’t think the people who make these and the people who go to the trouble of receiving them and distributing them truly know what they mean to us. The 10 I received will proudly be displayed I had been collecting ornaments for 65 years and lost them all. My tree small as it was really felt special with the handmade ornaments knowing the care love and time that went into them for a complete stranger to care enough to make them and send them to us. Thank everybody involved and I pray GOD blesses you as much as you have all blessed us."
Danielle commented on our Facebook page: "We lost our home in the Marshall fire in Colorado last year. I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful ornaments your organization made for our family. The ones from your student groups especially reminded me of some my own children had made over the years and were lost with our home. Please know that your time and energy in doing this is so appreciated and truly meant a lot. Thank you for surrounding my family with your love and support this year."
And Laurie replied to Danielle: "I agree! The ornaments were such a wonderful touch for our family affected by the Marshall fire, too. I got so inspired that I have been making some to contribute to your future events. Helps me process my own grief if I know I can pay it forward."
