This week let’s finish our home inventory. Time to tackle the family room, kitchen, dining room, laundry room and all the miscellaneous areas in your home.
Remember an inventory can, and should, be ongoing as you purchase new items for your home or as you are gifted or inherit items. Recording these additions and adding them to your inventory is a great assignment for a child. They will feel important, even essential, to the success of your preparations.
Plan your garage sale and deliver the items you have put aside for donations.
Once your inventory is complete indoors your summer is free to concentrate on the more fun aspects of creating a culture of self-reliance.
