For Christmas we gave our adult children plug in flashlights that automatically come on when the power fails. They are amazing and work really well. Power goes out, flashlights come on, and no more accidents in the dark. What about when the power goes out but it's not a neighborhood outage, just one at your home? You tripped the breaker or blew a fuse. Why not a plug-in flashlight in an outlet closest to the breaker box. Power goes out, you safely make it to the box with the light to guide you, grab the flashlight and use it to assess the problem and solve it!
