Today is the Sabbath for Christians, a day of prayer and contemplation. I was reminded today of our mission here at Totally Ready. We have always operated with the wisdom expressed by Madame Curie: " Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less." We post information about weather, disaster, economic, and world events to inform so we can all be prepared. We believe information is power. With information and action there need not be fear.
In October of 2019 I wrote several articles about a pandemic. Some said a pandemic was no longer possible, a few said it was fear mongering. Four months later we received notes and calls thanking us for the warning as people were now living in lockdown. They had heard, listened and prepared so they did not fear. We began warning of inflation last year two months before we began hearing reports on the news. Over a year ago we expressed concerns about Facebook and asked you to begin using the Totally Ready website instead. Last week we spent six days unable to communicate with you in a consistent manner.
We will continue to pass along information when we see the possibility of a crisis ahead. We do not know what will happen in the world next but we hope you will choose to use the information we provide to prepare so if the worst happens you will have no need to fear.
