It's stocking stuffer time! It just dawned on me summer items will disappear quickly now. Each Christmas for a few years I have been involved with friends in providing filled Stockings for the families served by our local food bank. Many of the items we have used to fill the stocking were purchased at dollar stores so I know seasonal items disappear long before the season ends. Now is the perfect time to purchase small items from a dollar store for Christmas stockings. There are so many fun items that will not be available once winter items are in stock. Sidewalk chalk, bubble wands, splash balls, ankle skip toys, inflatable beach balls are all available now and make great stocking stuffers.
